The all-new Mazda CX-5 2.5L AWD HEV Premium Plus is priced at Php2,495,000 The price includes a 3-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and a complimentary 5-year service plan, providing customers with greater peace of mind and an elevated ownership experience.
Stylish and Confident
Design has always been central to Mazda’s character. As the first model to adopt the Kodo design philosophy alongside Skyactiv technology, the CX-5 sets the standard for the brand’s design and engineering evolution. The latest generation stays true to its distinctive silhouette while introducing sleek proportions, a bolder presence, and improved everyday functionality. Designed to suit a wide range of lifestyles, it builds on the strong foundation of its predecessor as a versatile urban SUV offering even greater freedom to go where you want and do what you love.
The guiding design concept for the all-new Mazda CX-5, “Wearable Gear”, reflects how it is intended to fit naturally into different lifestyles. Like functional yet stylish clothing, the new model is urban and refined, practical, and ready for active use. “Wearable Gear” embodies flexibility and approachability, offering a vehicle that is both in a wide array of scenarios and uses.

The all-new CX-5’s design has been carefully evolved. Its proportions have been optimized for a more planted and roomier vehicle. Compared to its predecessor, it is longer (+115 mm), wider (+15 mm), and taller (+30 mm). Similarly, its wheelbase has grown (+115 mm) resulting in more cabin space than ever before, particularly in the form of best-in-class second-row legroom.
A distinctive trapezoidal motif defines the boundary between the body and the lower cladding, visually reinforcing the all-new CX-5’s solidity. This element draws inspiration from kigumi, the traditional Japanese woodworking technique in which structures are precisely interlocked without nails. In a similar way, the upper and lower sections of the vehicle appear seamlessly yet firmly connected, expressing structural integrity.

Raising the all-new CX-5’s nose enhances its presence, providing a more substantial front end that gives drivers a greater sense of security and a more commanding view of the road. The front wing lines are now easier to see from the driver’s seat, helping with spatial awareness in tighter spaces. To emphasize width, the bumper openings have been widened, improving its visual balance. The Signature Wing element, meanwhile, positioned between the sharp double light units, helps the front stand out and exude confidence.
The side profile continues Mazda’s Kodo design philosophy, combining organic surface transitions with crisp lines to convey motion and simplicity. Standard on the all-new CX-5 variants are 19-inch alloy wheels with a black metallic finish. It also features gloss black lower cladding creating a strikingly sporty presence.
At the rear, new linear LED taillights keep the overall look clean and modern, while bold “MAZDA” lettering replaces the traditional Mazda badge for an even greater visual impact. A hands-free power tailgate is standard.
The all-new CX-5 is available in six colors, including the new Navy Blue Mica, introduced for the first time in the Mazda line-up. Subtle yet confident, this finish achieves a strong contrast appearance—vivid and expressive in bright sunlight, deep and elegant under cloudy skies or at night. Other colors are Soul Red Crystal, Rhodium White, Machine Gray, Jet Black, and Aero Gray.
Crafted with Care
Inside, the all-new Mazda CX-5 embodies the principle of Ma, a key pillar of Japanese aesthetics that prioritize space, balance, and harmony. The result is an uncluttered, spacious cabin that is serene and functional, perfect for families, where the driver can focus and the passengers can relax.
Supporting diverse lifestyles and everyday practicality, the rear knee clearance by 64 mm and headroom by 29 mm. The rear door opening has also been expanded by 70 mm. Combined with a wider scuff plate and lowered hip point, entry and exit are more natural and effortless for occupants of all ages. The extended wheelbase also enhances cargo usability. By increasing load floor depth by approximately 45 mm, bulky items such as luggage can be stored upright, improving flexibility and making better use of the available space for daily family needs and longer journeys.
The driver-oriented environment continues to reflect Mazda’s commitment to control, comfort, and connection. The horizontal door-to-door dashboard layout enhances the sense of width and openness, with a new integrated 15.6-inch taking center stage. The redesigned center console improves everyday usability with repositioned cupholders and wireless charger, while longer, better-aligned armrests and refined front seats create a more stable and relaxed posture.
Materials and finishes are carefully crafted to offer both lasting quality and a refined, harmonious atmosphere throughout the cabin. Japanese Sen Wood brings a warm, genuine feel of luxury, while high-contact areas are finished in black to minimize visible wear and tear—an example of Mazda’s attention to detail and real-world use. Genuine sports tan leather seats with powered front seat adjustment, with memory presets for the driver, and ventilation is standard on the all-new CX-5.
New ambient lighting on the front door trims adds to this feeling of comfort with a choice of seven colors that create a calming environment. Indirect lighting enhances the sense of a private, high-quality space for passengers without distracting the driver at night. A panoramic sunroof makes the all-new CX-5 feel even more spacious and open.
Designed Around You
The in-car experience in the all-new Mazda CX-5 has been reimagined around safety, connectivity, and safety. Its technology is designed to simplify, support, and enhance the driving and passenger experience, with a focus on seamless integration and intuitive operation.
The CX-5 is the first model to adopt Mazda’s next-generation electrical and electronic architecture, Mazda E/E Architecture+ (EEA+). This advanced platform enables faster processing, improved connectivity, and future-ready digital functions. EEA+ forms the foundation of the CX-5’s reimagined human-machine interface (HMI), advanced connectivity, and over-the-air (OTA) update capability.
Enabled by this new architecture, Mazda carefully re-evaluated how drivers safely and naturally interact with in-car systems in everyday use. As voice and touch controls have become intuitive and familiar across daily digital life, the CX-5’s cockpit was designed to consolidate key operations into the steering wheel and center display, supported by clear visual hierarchy and reduced operational complexity.
Marking a first for Mazda, the all-new CX-5 features a more connected and intuitive infotainment experience, designed to make every journey more convenient and personalized. The central touch display serves as the hub for infotainment and connectivity. Designed with safety and convenience in mind, the intuitive and always-on touchscreen has smartphone-like usability and a customizable home screen with quick access to frequently used features. The system provides seamless access to voice assistance for access to popular apps for music, video streaming, and news allowing drivers to stay connected while keeping their focus on the road. The touchscreen system also replaces previously physical controls, such as climate control functions, for a more streamlined layout, and provides an enhanced overview of the surroundings via the 360° View Monitor.
The CX-5 also features an all-digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, giving the driver clear, customizable access to key vehicle information, including ADAS status, navigation cues, and media playback. To further support focused driving, a head-up display is projected on the front windshield. In addition, clean capacitive steering wheel switches integrate commonly used functions such as Mi-Drive mode selection, media controls, or the camera button for quickly checking the car’s surroundings. In addition to touch-sensitive slide gestures—for example when adjusting volume—the switches also retain familiar rocker-style press operation.
To enjoy high-quality sound, the CX-5 comes standard with a Bose 12-speaker premium sound system with Perceptual Sound Rendering (PSR). Specially tuned to the all-new Mazda CX-5’s cabin acoustics, it delivers immersive, lifelike sound by angling and placing the speakers closer to ear level and optimizing bass distribution across all speakers.
Reflecting Mazda’s commitment to advanced safety and driver-support systems, the all-new Mazda CX-5 has achieved the highest level of safety with a five-star rating at the Euro NCAP and ANCAP as well as a Top Safety Pick+ recognition by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
The all-new CX-5 introduces a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) improving safety, awareness, and comfort over a wide range of everyday driving scenarios. The Mazda i-Activsense package includes: Front & Rear Smart Brake Support (SBS), enhanced Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Driver Monitoring and Driver Attention Alert, Cruising and Traffic Support (CTS) with Lane Change Assist (LCA), and Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) with Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK).

Effortless Control
Mazda is committed to the joy of driving, and the Jinba Ittai feeling of oneness between car and driver has also been a key part of the brand’s DNA. The all-new CX-5 continues to set the bar even higher, enhancing everyday comfort, quietness, and ease of use while deepening the connection between car and driver.
To support this, the all-new CX-5 features updates to the chassis and suspension. Mazda revised the suspension setup with softer springs, adjusted the size of anti-roll bars and carefully tuned the dampers to better absorb road irregularities. Additionally, rebound damping has been increased at both the front and rear. At lower damper piston speeds, this provides better control and road-holding, especially during faster cornering, while still ensuring a smooth and stable ride. At higher damper piston speeds, the enhanced damping more effectively absorbs vibrations from uneven road surfaces, improving overall comfort.
The steering feel has been refined to offer a lighter, more intuitive handling while maintaining accurate feedback from the vehicle, allowing drivers to sense and control the vehicle with greater precision and confidence. The pedal response has also been optimized to allow drivers to experience swifter, more predictable feedback, and consistent acceleration without delays. This allows for a more natural and confident driving experience, even when continuous strong acceleration is needed.
More than just predictable and safe handling, Mazda focused on refining the driving experience by creating a consistent sound quality for a quieter and more comfortable cabin, regardless of speed or road conditions. Sound-absorbing and insulating materials have been placed in key areas, to keep noise for passengers to an absolute minimum. Precisely tuning the vibration of each component allowed unwanted sounds to be minimized. The updated engine, equipped with a balancer shaft, helps reduce vibrations and low-frequency noise.
Powering the all-new CX-5 is a new 2.5-liter e-Skyactiv-G coupled with the Mazda hybrid system. This combination delivers a more efficient and responsive engine, while retaining the mechanical purity and direct feedback that characterize Mazda’s human-centric driving experience.
The engine output and torque peak at 181 PS and 242 Nm. More than just output, consideration has been done to deliver a more assured driving experience, particularly at low and mid-range engine speeds. Compared to the outgoing engine, it delivers peak horsepower sooner (5,000 rpm versus 6,000 rpm), while torque delivery below 4,500 rpm has been improved by up to 19 percent.
For the first time, the all-new Mazda CX-5 introduces hybrid technology, bringing greater efficiency and refinement to the driving experience. The system works seamlessly with the engine to support smoother acceleration and deceleration, helping optimize fuel efficiency while maintaining the responsive and engaging drive that Mazda is known for. It also contributes to a quieter and more refined cabin, particularly when the engine restarts after a stop. Together, these enhancements deliver a more effortless, efficient, and comfortable driving experience without compromising its driving character.
The engine is mated to a recalibrated 6-speed automatic transmission with revised shift mapping and an updated hydraulic torque converter control. These refinements reduce shift frequency and enable smoother or crisper transitions depending on load and the driver’s preference.
“The all-new Mazda CX-5 elevates the everyday experience thanks to its advanced technology, significantly more practical SUV dimensions, and of course, the signature driving dynamics,” says Tan. “The CX-5 is an important part of Mazda with cumulative global sales reaching five million units. There is no doubt that the next-generation model will continue to do the same.”
