We at Overland Kings were thrilled to participate in the Manila Auto Salon and Sport Truck Show 2025, joining fellow builders, brands, and enthusiasts in celebrating the growing overlanding and off-road community in the Philippines.
From November 13 to 16 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, we showcased adventure-ready builds that highlighted how the right combination of gear, setup, and planning could transform everyday vehicles into reliable travel companions.
As one of the country’s premier gatherings for customized vehicles, off-road rigs, and aftermarket innovations, the event gave attendees the opportunity to explore complete builds up close, discover new products, and gain practical insights for their own rigs.
Overland Kings at the Manila Auto Salon and Sport Truck Show 2025

We brought some of our favorite builds to the show, each telling its own story of adventure. From fully equipped long-range tourers to lifestyle rigs and versatile workhorses, these vehicles were not just for display—they were practical setups that could inspire anyone’s next trip.
Here are the highlights of our exhibits:
Toyota LC200 “Archipelago Explorer
Our flagship build, the LC200 Archipelago Explorer, was designed for long-haul trips and island-hopping adventures, demonstrating how a large SUV could become a fully self-sufficient “home on wheels.” Every upgrade was carefully selected to enhance drivability, safety, and comfort on extended journeys.
- Ride and capability: BP51 suspension with ARB upper control arms and Airbag Man helpers, Black Rhino wheels, and Rival bumpers delivered a smoother, controlled drive over rough roads while improving protection and visibility.
- Interior comfort: Custom Nift interior in alcantara and cowhide, sound deadening, and a Harman Kardon system with Pioneer head unit made long trips more relaxing.
- Adventure-ready setup: Kings drawers, slide-out kitchen, pantry and freezer slide, plus an iKamper BDV Duo rooftop tent made camp setup fast and convenient.
This build proved that adventure didn’t have to mean sacrificing comfort—you could enjoy off-road capability while keeping your family safe, entertained, and well-equipped.
GWM Tank 300 “Lifestyle Explorer”
The Tank 300 Lifestyle Explorer catered to drivers who wanted a vehicle ready for both daily driving and weekend getaways. Overland Kings outfitted it with gear that made adventure simple, practical, and enjoyable.
- Adventure-ready, daily-drivable: Front and rear ARB differential lockers, Method wheels with Toyo tires, and tuned suspension offered off-road confidence without compromising comfort.
- Quick camp setup: Mammoth Systems' rooftop tent and awning allowed for easy camp setup wherever the journey took you.
- Organized storage: Custom Kings drawers and Meika Offroad accessories kept camping gear, recovery tools, and luggage easily accessible.
Built in collaboration with GWM, this rig demonstrated how a stock Tank 300 could evolve into a versatile, lifestyle-ready adventure vehicle with gear that anyone could purchase and install.
Hilux J “Utility Explorer”
The Hilux J Utility Explorer showed that you didn’t need a top-trim model to tackle serious adventures. Overland Kings focused on practicality and versatility, creating a build that worked hard during the week and played hard on weekends.
- Flexible storage: Explore the canopy and Kings dual battery setup with custom bed organization allows for easy transport of tools, equipment, or camping gear.
- Reliable off-grid power: Dual battery system powers lights, fridge, and accessories without draining the main battery.
- Improved handling and visibility: OME BP51 suspension, ARB roof rack and commercial bars, and Nacho and PIAA driving lights enhanced stability and night-time visibility.
This build reflected our philosophy: even a base model could become a capable, adventure-ready vehicle with thoughtful, purpose-driven upgrades and trusted brands.
